Bella’s Vineyard and Darkest Dartford

Free to download from Kindle on 27th and 28th February 2012

For two days, starting tomorrow (27th February), my former My Weekly pocket novel and now Kindle ebook, Bella’s Vineyard, will be free to download from Amazon. So if anyone is interested in researching the market, now is the time. I should point out that this was from the time when the novellas were only 30k words. But the basic requirements were the same, so you’ll get a good idea. Also, I’m told, it’s a good read. Keep an eye out on the Amazon page tomorrow for when it becomes free. It’ll be free to download until the end of 28th February (but I think it’s American time so I’m not entirely sure what that equates to in GMT).

I had a great time at the Pocket Novel Workshop in Dartford. I was made so welcome by Elaine Everest, Francesca Burgess and everyone who attended. There were 19 people in the workshop, which is the biggest crowd I’ve ever had to talk to. But it worked out really well and I got some good feedback from participants. A couple  expressed a wish to do the next online version which starts on June 2nd 2012. Details here. So I’m looking forward to catching up with them then.

Today is ‘get my breath back’ day, after which I’ll be throwing myself back into the current online workshop and attempting to finish the current WIP.

  1. You’re doing great. I’ve somewhat lost my way and will have to struggle to get back to writing. Son’s exam has me all in a tizzy these days – he’s doing his equivalent of o levels starting today.

  2. It was a great day Sally :)

I’ve already downloaded Bellas Vineyard but I will spread the word ;)

    Looking forward to June :)

    xx

  3. Meg

    Just downloaded it. Thanks Sally.
